Butterbean
and
Noodles

Bonded pair of senior queens

Butterbean and Noodles grew up together, and they were orphaned in August of 2023 when their human mama passed away.

They are both house trained, kennel trained, spayed, heartworm negative, and full of love! As old ladies, they can be a little selective when making new friends, so if you have other dogs in the house, having a meet-and-greet first would be ideal!

They need to go to a new home together where they can enjoy their golden years.

Demeter

Silver sweetheart

Demeter, or "Demi," was living under an empty house with her 6 silvery blue puppies. It took the rescue team three days to get everybody to safety, but eventually the whole family went into foster care. The babies, also named after characters from Greek myths, went to a  rescue in Maine , where they were quickly adopted.

In the meantime, Demi has blossomed into the sweetest, most loving, playful girl, and she would make an excellent companion!

She is house trained, kennel trained, and dog friendly. She is HW+, and The Mutt House will cover her treatment.

Ruthie

Spunky gal

Ruthie is another pitty mama who was rescued from a dire situation. She and four puppies were living in neglect -- one puppy was so anemic from the fleas that he required a blood transfusion!

Ruthie is an independent lady now, and she would love a person of her own. Ruthie is an energetic girl who needs lots of play, and she will reward you with lots of kisses!

Ruthie is house trained, kennel trained, and HW-. She does get along with other dogs, but usually requires a slow introduction.

Scooby Doo

The goodest boy

Scooby Doo is a Catahoula Leopard Dog mix who was found with an old injury and owners who did not want him. He had major surgery to repair his hip, and he's doing much better though he still has a wee bit of a limp sometimes.

Scooby is a sweet, playful, goofball of a dog who loves to roll around on a couch and snuggle right up against you.

He is house trained, kennel trained, and HW-. He can be a little dog selective sometimes, so a meet-and-greet is ideal if you have other furbabies!

Sweet Pepper

Big love in a small package

Sweet Pepper wandered the streets by herself for a few weeks. When the weather got cold and rainy, someone in her neighborhood put out an SOS. Sweet Pepper is one of the most precious and affectionate girls ever.

She surprised us by turning up pregnant, and she should have her puppies any day now! When she is done with mama duty, she'll be available for adoption.

Sweet Pepper is house trained and kennel trained. She is HW+, sadly, but The Mutt House will cover her treatment.

Tina

Puppy energy FTW

Tina was dumped in an industrial area of Shreveport, emaciated and all alone. She was picked up by folks at The Mutt House and fattened up.

Tina is HW-, and she's now healthy, spayed, and ready for her forever home!
